Clean Up Your Work Space!

I
s this what your desk looks like? Is every surface piled higher and deeper?
How's that working for you?
A messy desk and office, interrupts our progress. It often reflects scrambled or unorganized thinking, interfering with clear vision and motivation to complete important tasks. Having a clear surface to work on provides more efficient use of time and less distractions.
Taking time at the end of the day to do some filing, tossing, and shredding prepares you to being with a clear work space the next day.
Do I do it every day - NO! What I find is as I begin a new day, I am distracted by the piles, wondering what's in them and do they need attention.
If they don't need attention, why are they on my desk? So I have work to do to find a home for everything on my desk on a daily basis. As I am writing this blog I am thinking, I need to do some cleaning before I complete the last sentence.
